RFCA Academy was created in November of 2007 on initiative of the State in frame of realization of the Program of development of Regional financial centre of Almaty city till 2010.
The main mission is creation of the system of training/retraining specialists for successful functioning of the financial centre of Almaty and for the Kazakhstan financial sector on the whole. This will contribute to the global goal of effective integration of the Kazakhstan with world financial market and including of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 50—s most competitive countries of the World.
From the beginning of it’s activity, the RFCA Academy has targeted at creation of the international level centre for the financial sector of the region. Today one of the most biggest banks of the World – UBS – has decided to support the development of RFCA Academy and share the international educational resources with students of Academy in Almaty and Switzerland.
Security & Investment Institute (SII) had provided accreditation of RFCA Academy as official training-provider for training specialists of international level.
SII – leading educational centre of the Great Britain on training specialist for financial and investment market. It creates the standards of professional qualification for the financial sector specialists and provides wide spectrum of qualifications for employees or just beginning career in financial sphere.

As the RFCA Academy rector Isabayeva said, the Academy is planning to graduate 90 specialists till the end of 2008, which will finished the UBS courses in Almaty, and 10 which will be studying in UBS educational centre in Switzerland. 50 specialists are planned to be trained on SII program.
At the moment, the RFCA Academy offers raining on following programs: «Professional activity on security market»; «The practice of preparing and realization of IPO on Kazakhstan and foreign markets»; «Evaluation and calculation of the shareholder’s equity according to the system Basel-2»; «Derivatives: forwards, futures, options, swops».
«We hope that the RFCA Academy will become the best educational centre for financiers as in Kazakhstan, also as in Central Asia »,- Head of the Academy said.
