By order of JSC Regional Financial Center of Almaty, JSC Academy of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty (RFCA Academy), in the framework of the events for preparation for the 7th Asian Winter Games Aziada-2011, will be training 80 health workers in the English language.

It is expected that during Aziada-2011 more than 800 sportsmen as well as a large number of coaches, experts, officials, representatives of foreign mass media, guests and tourists, will come to Almaty. Considering this fact it is important to pay special attention to the training of relevant personnel, including the health workers, which will be engaged in the servicing of Asiada-2011.

Knowledge of the English language will help the medical personnel provide medical aid to foreign investors and tourists, and will become an important tool in the creation of a positive image of Almaty as an international business center.

The training course will be conducted under Cooperation Agreement for Development of Almaty City as the Regional Financial Center, concluded between the Akimat of Almaty and JSC RFCA.

The RFCA Academy was set up in November of 2007 on the government’s initiative under the Regional Financial Center of Almaty Development Program till 2010. The Academy’s mission is to set up a system of training and re-training of the financial sector specialists in cooperation with leading educational centers.
